Coronavirus & Public Service Message from NNBA to all Members
NNBA respectfully asks your help. The Board of Bar Commissioners and Officers of the NNBA are seeking to develop a list of volunteer NNBA member attorneys and advocates to help the people of the Navajo Nation, in support of the Navajo Supreme Court’s order issued by the Honorable Chief Justice JoAnn Jayne, in response to the increased demands placed on the Navajo Judicial Branch due to the covid-19 coronavirus. Simply put, we are asking you to consider pro bono service to the courts above and beyond the usual and customary obligations of NNBA membership – now and in the months ahead as the cascading effects of this public health emergency may continue to be felt.
