Learn about the legal history of the co-management of public health issues on the Navajo Nation. How federal and Navajo law have intersected over the years to respond to health issues, medical studies conducted on Navajo people, and the effects of bringing private actors onto the Nation to help address health issues. This study in the public health space shows the intrinsic intertwining of Navajo law with federal law.
